The renovation involved a complete reconsideration of the floor plan to optimise flow and introduce new spaces, including an additional master bedroom.
At the heart of the design is the kitchen, a true centrepiece shaped around this family’s love of cooking and sharing food. From the outset, the brief called for a generous bench where everyone could gather, a dynamic hub where cooks and diners can swap places and enjoy the space together. It was envisioned as the setting for long conversations and vibrant family activity.
Internal finishes were carefully curated in collaboration with KHID, where neutral tones create a soft, understated backdrop. Bronze tapware, hardware and framing, paired with fluted glass and warm timber furniture, add a refined elegance.
Key transformations include a new laundry, two new ensuite bedrooms, a new shared bathroom, a fully renovated master suite, the living area and the main kitchen/family zone.
Ultimately, the project succeeds through its consistency and the seamless transitions between every space.
